Presentation

Lazkaoko Beneditarren Fundazioa was created in the spring of 2011 by the Benedictine monks of Lazkao in collaboration with the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council and Lazkao Town Council. The foundation is run by Benedictine monk Juan Jose Agirre, and has two main objectives: to manage the vast document archive that Agirre has compiled on the Basque Country over the past four decades, and to continue compiling new collections for the benefit of society.

OUR EXHIBITION IN ERRENTERIA!

After Lazkao, Beasain and Legazpi, we are carrying  The 80’s in Euskal Herria: politics, society, culture exhibition to Errenteria. It will be open from 4th to 29tH April in Xenpelar Etxea (Madalen 34), Monday to Saturday from 17:00 to 20:00.
We  are showing documents from Lazkaoko Beneditarren Fundazioa’s collections: posters, stickers, pamphlets… They will provide us a complete picture of the decade.
